Terms of Service

1. Use of the Service

Park Place Directories operates a Southern California home-services business directory. Visitors may search, browse, and view public business listings. Business owners may claim listings, manage profiles, and subscribe to enhanced directory offerings. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others.

2. Business Directory Listings

Listings may include information submitted by business owners as well as information gathered from publicly available sources such as online business directories and company websites. We strive to keep listings accurate, but we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any listing. Business owners are responsible for the accuracy of information they submit.

3. Claiming a Business

To claim a business listing, you must be authorized to represent that business. By submitting a claim, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to manage the listing. Claims are reviewed and verified by Park Place before ownership is granted. We may reject or revoke a claim at any time if we determine the claimant is not authorized or has provided false information.

4. Business-Owner Verification

Verification is a manual review process. A "verified" status indicates that Park Place has reviewed the claim and confirmed the claimant's authority to manage the listing. It does not constitute an endorsement of the business, its services, its workmanship, its licensing status, its insurance coverage, or the safety or quality of its work.

5. Owner Responsibility for Submitted Information

Business owners are solely responsible for the content they publish on their listings, including business names, descriptions, contact details, hours, credentials, photos, and links. You grant Park Place permission to display submitted content on the directory and in related materials. You agree not to submit false, misleading, infringing, or unlawful content.

6. Free Basic Listings

Claimed businesses receive a free Basic Listing that includes a claimed profile, core business information, service category, and visibility in the business's Home City plus additional cities as described on our pricing page. Park Place may modify the features and visibility limits of the free tier at any time.

7. Park Place Verified

Park Place Verified is a paid enhanced directory offering that provides additional profile features and visibility. "Park Place Verified" refers to Park Place's directory verification and enhanced listing program. It does not imply that Park Place independently guarantees a company's workmanship, licensing, insurance, background, safety, or service quality beyond confirming the claimant's authority to manage the listing.

8. Park Place Growth Partner

Park Place Growth Partner is a separate, higher-level marketing and business-growth service. It is not a directory subscription tier. Participation, pricing, and scope are arranged separately. Growth Partnership does not guarantee leads, customers, rankings, revenue, traffic, or business results.

9. No Guarantee of Results

Park Place Directories does not guarantee leads, customers, rankings, revenue, traffic, or any specific business results from appearing in the directory, from being verified, or from subscribing to any paid offering. Inclusion in the directory does not constitute an endorsement of any business.

10. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to notify us of any unauthorized use. We use Supabase for authentication and account management.

11. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Claim a business you are not authorized to represent
• Impersonate another person or business
• Post infringing, unlawful, or harmful content
• Attempt to access or modify listings you do not own
• Interfere with the security or operation of the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data without permission

12. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by Park Place Directories and protected by intellectual property laws. Business owners retain ownership of the content they submit but grant Park Place a license to display it on the directory. We may remove content that we believe violates these Terms or applicable law.

13. Correction and Removal Requests

Business owners may correct their listing information through their account. If you believe a listing contains inaccurate information about your business, you may contact us to request correction or removal. We will review such requests in accordance with applicable law.

14. Communications

By using the Service, you agree to receive communications related to your listing, claim, account, or directory services. You may unsubscribe from outreach emails using the link provided. We use third-party services, including GoHighLevel, to send and manage communications.

15. Billing, Cancellation, and Refunds

Park Place Verified is an optional paid upgrade. Current Founding Member pricing is $49/month or $497/year where offered. Subscriptions automatically renew according to the selected billing period until canceled. You can manage or cancel your subscription through the Park Place billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals according to the billing provider's subscription terms. Cancellation does not remove your free directory listing. Paid Park Place Verified features may be removed when a paid subscription ends.

Payment processing is handled through third-party payment providers. Park Place does not directly store full payment-card details. If you have billing questions or wish to request a refund, please contact us at info@parkplacedirectories.com.

16. Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, remove listings, or revoke claims if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law, or to protect the integrity of the directory.

17. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that listings are accurate, that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any results will be achieved. Appearance in the directory is not an endorsement. Park Place Verified does not guarantee workmanship, licensing, insurance, safety, or service quality unless those checks are actually performed and legally supported by Park Place.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Park Place Directories shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Service or reliance on any listing.

19. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Park Place Directories from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your listing content, or your violation of these Terms.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in California.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we make changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
